CASE STUDY

2k a Day and €200k Impact!

How Widgets Drive Trust and Fundraising
Breast Cancer Ireland recently ran their 2k a Day Challenge via Give2you. Given the fundraiser focused flow of challenges on the platform, this campaign went a step further and fully integrated sign ups on the Breast Cancer Ireland website. This lead to increased visibility of the campaign with the charities main supporters and minimised fundraiser drop off as they can stay engaged on the Breast Cancer Ireland website instead of being re-directed to a different fundraising platform.

Key Impact

€204,001 Raised

4,203 Participants

6,863 Donors

398,723 Kilometres

SMS Alerts

Breast Cancer Ireland enabled SMS alerts sot their fundraisers would instantly get an automated text from them with the link to their fundraising page. This means instant and easy access which resulted in a higher uptake of instant page sharing.

Customisable Communication Journey

Breast Cancer Ireland fully customised their fundraisers automated emails from the platform. This included a flow for both active and in-active pages which would automatically kick in and target at key times. This meant active fundraisers would receive the “bualadh bos” they deserve in a personal way and inactive fundraisers felt encouraged and supported.

Custom Questions

As part of the challenge, all participants received a t-shirt. As part of the sign up questions on the widget, address and size could easily be added so the fulfilment team could have everything they needed. Reports on the sign up form are real-time and easily downloadable from Breast Cancer Ireland’s Give2You account at any point by their team.

Give2you Challenge Functionality

The Flow:

Instant fundraising page creation through a powerful sign up form, No login or activation required.

Fundraisers can easily log their steps/distance on their fundraising page. Optionally they can also upload an image to their entry for enhanced engagement.

After logging their daily activity, participants are encouraged to share their update online. This was a key engagement piece
